News from Huntsville, AL!

Hello everyone,

Thanks for all the notes. Sorry it has taken me awhile to write. We are doing fine. The storm was pretty strong, but we made it through with just lots of tree damage. We had a 75 ft. tree fall right beside our house, but didn't hit it. We are very grateful for that. Matt, the kids and I all headed up to Huntsville to stay with my parents on Sunday. As of today, we still have no power, but are hoping to return some time next week. Matt arrived in Houston today to go back to work. I will post a few pictures when I get back home.

Holly,
So glad you guys are safe!! Can't wait to see pics of your place. Hopefully there isn't too much to clean up.

Hi Holly! It was fun to see pictures of your mom's visit and Will going to preschool. Abby looks so darling in that dress sitting on your mom's lap. They are such cute sweet kids. We miss you all very much and are so grateful that the hurricane wasn't any worse than it was-but ten days without power is more than an inconvenience. Hope that all is well when you get back to Spring, I would like to see pictures of the front and back yard. Love and kisses to you and our babies.

Hey Holly! I guess that's life living in Houston. We had to evacuate for Rita in 2005. Pretty crazy stuff. We heard that Humble and Kingwood (where we used to live) had damage too. Hopefully your power is restored and life is returning to normal.

Hey! This comment is for the comment you left on my blog. Sorry I didn't tell you but I wanted to wait until I saw the heart beat. I didn't tell anyone, I just posted it on the blog.
